Staff are invited to attend the first meeting in the Menopause Network ‘Symptom Series’ focusing on the all-important issue of ‘Sleep’.
When: 4th March 2020, 12.00-13.30
Where: B154 Main Building, College Lane
From peri-menopause to post-menopause, women report the most sleeping problems. Most notably, these include hot flashes, mood disorders, insomnia and sleep-disordered breathing. Sleep problems are often accompanied by depression and anxiety. Generally, post-menopausal women are less satisfied with their sleep and as many as 61% report insomnia symptoms. Have a look at the Sleep Foundation webpage for further information.
The session will be facilitated by Menopause Network Chair Laura Davidson-Dean and will offer a safe space for sharing experiences, tips and information about this very important subject. If you would like to attend, please email: positivepause@herts.ac.uk
